TODAY A READER, TOMORROW A LEADER!
South Highlands Middle School Media Center
The mission of South Highlands Middle School’s Library Media Program is to be an integral part of the instructional curriculum by providing continuous and relevant service to students, teachers and the community to prepare students for the future through the use of library and online resources for recreational use and academic research.
Students may check-out books for a one week period. A student may renew a book for another one week period. Books need to be returned on or before the due date. To locate books in the library, students must access the Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) on the network. The books in the collection are arranged according to the Dewey Decimal Classification System.
Internet access is available in the library. All students must govern themselves according to the district's Acceptable Use Policy. All students are responsible for appropriate behavior while using the Internet. Any violation of this policy may result in access being denied, revoked, or suspended.
