The mission of the Office of Operations for the Bullock County School District is to ensure that every student and staff member learns, works, and thrives in a safe, efficient, and supportive environment. We are committed to providing high-quality operational services—including facilities, transportation, technology, nutrition, and safety—that directly support the district's educational mission. Through proactive planning, accountability, and a focus on continuous improvement, we strive to remove barriers to learning and foster operational excellence across all schools.

Operations Strategic Goals

Athletics

  • Develops and implements sports programs for student athletes.
  • Organizes and manages school sports events and competitions.
  • Provides coaching and training resources for various sports.

Child Nutrition

  • Provides nutritious meals to students daily.
  • Ensures all meals meet dietary guidelines and standards.
  • Manages food services across multiple school locations.
  • Implements programs to educate students about healthy eating.
  • Maintains cleanliness and safety in food preparation areas.

Facilities & Maintenance

  • Oversees the maintenance and repair of school buildings.
  • Plans and manages capital improvement projects.
  • Ensures all facilities meet safety and health standards.
  • Coordinates setup and teardown for school events.
  • Maintains school grounds, including landscaping and playgrounds.

School Safety & Security

  • Develops and enforces security policies and procedures.
  • Monitors school premises for safety threats.
  • Coordinates with law enforcement and emergency services.
  • Provides safety training for staff and students.
  • Implements technology solutions to enhance security.

Transportation

  • Organizes and oversees student transportation services.
  • Ensures buses and other vehicles adhere to safety standards.
  • Coordinates bus routes and schedules for optimal efficiency.
  • Provides training for drivers on safety and operational procedures.
  • Handles special transportation needs for students with disabilities
